Climate
Springtime is one of the best seasons to visit Washington, with sunny and warm days and mild nights. The average temperature in April is around 12ºC (55ºF). Most days will be sunny, with occasional showers (on average 8 days during the month).
Traveling to Washington
Washington DC is easy to each from many Int’l and domestic cities. 3 nearby airports are: Regan National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles Intl Airport (IAD), and Baltimore Intl Airport (BWI). There are many international non-stop flights from major cities in US and all over the world. The hotel hosting the venue provides frequent free airport shuttle from DCA airport to/from the hotel. Other ways to IM2019 include metro, city bus, car share, and taxi.
Convenient and inexpensive public transit to DC attractions (e.g., National Mall is 10 minutes away). The venue (Hilton DoubleTree Hotel) is only 5 minutes driving distance from the Regan National Airport.
Passport and Visa Requirements

IM 2019 will take place at Hilton DoubleTree Hotel – Crystal City, which is located in the vibrant Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, VA. The hotel features spacious and versatile meeting and banquet facilities. It is within minutes of many landmarks including the Washington Monument, United States Capitol and White House. The hotel has a revolving rooftop restaurant and guests can enjoy great city view of the Washington monument and the Capital from the top of the building. It provides easy access the nation’s capital with the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to Pentagon City Metro, Reagan National Airport (DCA), and Fashion Centre Mall. Transportation
There are many ways to reach the DoubleTree hotel from airports. The hotel is close to the Pentagon city metro station and bus stations. It is only few minutes driving distance from the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and about half an hour driving distance from the Dulles International Airport.
